We’re going to try something a little different today.

I think you’ll like it, and I think it will be fun.

Here we go!!

So, not to brag or anything, but I won another giveaway.

In my daily travels around the blogosphere, I came across Cream City Ribbon, and yes, they had me at “ribbon.”

But wait, there’s more.

Cream City Ribbon prides itself on being an ecofriendly company, from the ribbon itself and inks used to color it, to the packaging it comes in, to the energy used to create it.  It really is an impressive operation. (You can read more of the details here.)

So throwing my name in the hat was a no-brainer, and, low and behold, two 10-yard spools of Cream City Ribbon are on their way to my door as you read this…and this is when the real fun starts!

I am putting together two grab bags full of wonderful crafty goodies like papers, fabrics, threads, and of course…Cream City Ribbon!

One I will keep for myself, and the other will go to one of you…and we will have a “crafty competition” to see what we can do with Cream City Ribbons!

Leave a comment below to be entered.  Maybe you want to tell us what ideas you are already thinking of, or maybe you want to keep them to yourself and just say “PICK ME! PICK ME!!”  Either way, a random winner will be chosen Friday, October 22nd.  If you are the lucky recipient of this package of crafty yummyness, you just have to promise to send us pics of what your creation looked like!!

Let the games begin!!

  3. While I probably won’t have any specific ideas until I see what I’m working with, I am a very multifaceted crafter. I knit, I sew, I embroider, I can kind of crochet (even though it terrifies me), I draw and paint and artjournal, make jewelry, sculpt (particularly polymer clay), and I’ve done bookbinding and even a little bit of bladesmithing.

So I think I could come up with something interesting!

Well, I’m making my wedding flowers at the moment, so if the colours matched I’d make fabric flowers. If not, hmm, I guess it’d be a surprise!
