Just When I Thought I Was Going To Be On Oprah, I Spent My Vacation With Martha Stewart

It all started with a simple tweet.

A fellow craft blogger mentioned Martha Stewart having a blogging event that she’d love to attend, and of course, I agreed.

A few days later, while vacationing on the Cape, an invite arrived in my email.  Needless to say, I was beyond excited!

Then reality hit.

Wait, this trip will require me leaving my vacation, me leaving my children for the first time ever, and me staying in New York City, where I’ve never even been, let alone by myself, by way of Boston, another city I’ve never traveled to alone.  Suddenly panic struck!

But it was Martha!

How could I not go??

So, I quickly bought a train ticket before I could talk myself out of going, and never looked back.  And, thank goodness I did!  I had such a great time!  You can check out my pictures from the event in the slideshow below.  It was spectacular…in typical Martha style.  There were interactive displays set up all over the room, with food, crafts, decor ideas, health & wellness tips, etc.  Her staff is packed with some of the nicest people I have ever met.  Martha spoke for a few minutes, after playing ping-pong with a few lucky guests.

It was by far the coolest night in this little blogger’s life!

P.S. The swag bag was awesome…great projects using some of the goodies coming soon!!  And feel free to ask questions about anything you see!

P.P.S Here’s the Martha Stewart Crafts Department’s Blog Post on the event!
