We’ve been talking nonstop about Silhouette this week. Whether your a Craft Academy member or a follower on Facebook, it pretty much has been our topic of choice as of late. So when Silhouette asked if I’d like to giveaway a Portrait today I said ABSOLUTELY!!
If you scroll all the way down to the bottom of this post you’ll see a Raflecopter box to enter. If you’re reading this in your email inbox and can’t see the box, just click here to be taken right to the Nikki, In Stitches site. And good luck!
BUT WAIT!!!
If you’re already a Silhouette owner, I’ve got a little goodie for you today, too!

If you’re like me, and you want to be able to use all of the free SVG files you can find online, it is absolutely worth it! I don’t have a machine. 🙁 I would probably start with some vinyl wall quotes. Thank you!!!
I’d make a banner for my honeys birthday coming up.
I have a machine, but {gasp!} I still have not made anything! I have signed up for your classes, though, so first project on the way ASAP!
I would love to win and make some vinyl cutouts for decorating my walls.
love to win one for my daughter
I own a Cameo, but I’d love to win the Portrait! I work for the after school program in my town, and I’d LOVE to be able to donate a machine to the program so that the kids could do some scrapbooking/cardmaking and use a cutting machine!
Thanks so much for the chance to win! I always learn new tips and tricks by visiting your blog and watching your videos! Thanks!!!
Would love to win the portrait for my daughter!! First thing I made was the control cover for my sil. Luckily it went well cause the next thing I tried with cardstock was a total failure with bits of cardstock stuck everywhere!!….even after decsticking the mat a bit!
I would love have this machine! First thing I would do is make a shirt for my daughters upcoming birthday!
I own the Cameo but in the past I used the Cricuit and have tons of saved SVG files that I cannot use now. I would love to be able to use some of my saved files to make birthday cards or just because cards:)
IF I WIN THIS I WILL MAKE A WALL STORY IN VINYL!!!
THANKS FOR THE CHANCE!
I love anything with chalkboard paper, so something involving that!
If I win I will make some of the beautiful vinyl wall sayings as gifts for my friends. Thank you
winning this machine would be soooo awesome. I love crafting with my kids and myself for my studio… my next project is a easter banner and some decoration 🙂
I would make birthday party decorations!
Would love to win for my best friend so we can skype craft together. My favorite projects to make are holiday treat holders and anything vinyl.
This would be so cool!! I try to scrapbook, but it is not as fun as when I have access to a cutting machine. I would also love to try doing some of the other things this machine is capable of. Crossing my fingers.
I’d make the invitations for my son’s birthday party!
I’m still begging Santa to bring me a Cameo!!! Been drooling over one for years. My friend is an avid card maker and I’m an interior designer. Oh the things we could make…!
I would make some cute pillow cases!
I don’t own one but I would love to make some tshirts for my children as one of my first projects. 🙂
I love love vinyl projects especially HTV so I can wear my creations wherever I go. If I won the portrait, the first thing I would create is monograms…I would personalize everything I own with beautifully cutesy initials! I also have a friend who has been begging for me to monogram all her little girls tops. The portrait would be perfect!
I would love to win one
Thank you, Nikki, for this great contest!!
What would I make? Probably a gift for someone – it would depend on who has a birthday coming the soonest!
The first thing I would make is a birthday present for my mom – a vinyl wall decal.
I own the Cameo and love to make baby items for friends/family. I would love to win the Portrait to give to a friend or family member 🙂
Great Give a Way! Thanks for the chance to win….
I sure hope to win this! I don’t have a Silhouette, but if I do win one, I have been wanting to make some signs, so I would use it to cut out the letters in pretty fonts.
I LOVE making all of the 3D objects out there!
I love making personlized items with vinyl!
I would love to learn how to use one of these instead of always trying to do things the old fashioned way
i dont own one. i would use it to make templates for quilt patterns to trace around on the fabric. i have a rotary cutter and mat but i have severe arthritis in my back and hips and cannot stand long enough to cut fabric. i go to an acute pain doctor monthly and get a total of 16 shots, 8 on each side of my spine. if i dont get relief when i see him the next month, he tries a different medecine. so far he has not found anything that eases the pain. i have quilted for over forty years. all of my quilts are hand pieced, hand quilted, and donated to charity. my only income is less than four hundred dollars monthly for disability. so buying one of these great machines is not an option. i enter contest to win fabric and a few bloggers send me scraps sometimes to help me out with having fabric to work on. thank you for such a great giveaway.
My sister has been wanting vinyl “inspirational” words to place on each step of her staircase. Thanks for the chance to win.
I would really love a portrait at work!
Anything I can vinyl!!!

I’m a relatively new Silhouette owner and I LOVE making cards for people. And boxes. And putting vinyl on things. 🙂

Would love to win a Portrait – so many ways to use it – would be hard to decide where to start – but would be oh so much fun to play with 😉
I am working on getting my cameo going, but would love to have a portrait to share with a family member who is very crafty and could use an item like this to help bring in income. I love them. Thank you for the give away.
I would love to win the portrait to make some vinyl signs for my daughters room!

And if you don’t already have one, if you won the Portrait today, what would be the first thing you made? I would probably give it to my daughter to use.
I just received a silhouette cameo for Christmas and I’m learning all the in’s and outs. Your blog and recent video is so perfect for us newbies. Very excited to have this fantastic machine. I’m really looking forward to making my own cards, cutting wall vinyl sayings and using them to make my own wooden signs as well. I would love to win the portrait and return the pleasure to my kom who is a very crafty person herself!
I don’t have one, but if I did I’d be making wedding invitations for a friend of mine.
first thing Id cut is vinyl letters and numbers for our mailboxes! Thanks for the chance!
If I won this machine, the first thing I would make are cards! Thanks for the chance to win 🙂
I have a silhouette and today bought the designer package through the discount code provided by Nikki. I started classes from day one and it has been awesome! I can’t attend the live spree classes but save them for later viewing. Thanks Nikki for this class! I’m learning more than I ever could by myself!
I would use it to make birthday decorations for my grandchildren !!
I received a Cameo for Christmas and haven’t really played with it yet, but hoping that will change soon.
I want to learn how to use one of these neat machines. I would love to try all the files online I see people talking about. First thing I would do is some nice vinyl words for my daughter’s room. Thanks!

I would take it to my trailer during the summer months. Love the size for easy transporting.

If I had it I’d be making valentines cards! Thanks
If I won this I would use it to cut pieces for quilting and appliqué.
I love the personalized clothing, and the vinyl wall art. Those would be the first things I would make if I were to win.
I have a silhouette. I have been cutting out embellishments, flowers and butterflies to decorate explosion boxes, our “healing boxes”. I would like the portrait to take with me when I have my art therapy classes.
I think the first things I would do will be: glass etching, vinyl decals for about 200 people in our group for our cars, and making a few signs for my house.
Feeling lucky!
cards, cards, and more cards!
Winning this would make my year!! 🙂
I don’t have one yet. I would make all sorts of die cuts for learning games for my Kindergarten class!

I’ve really enjoyed making printed gifts for my family and friends, like chargers.
My objective is learning how to use the cameo for fabric to share the concepts with my local quilt shop. This site is so informative. I look forward to mastering the software. I have signed up for classes. I started on and just finished Lesson 4. I enjoyed learning about making stencils for fabric backgrounds and cutting out fabric shapes to sew on the background. I want to cut vinyl, etch and try everything that the silhouette will do. I don’t actually own a silhouette, only using the quilt shop owners cameo. Would love to win the portrait!
I just made totally cute birthday invitations for my daughter. I would love to give this to my sis for her birthday! I’m definitely going to need to get the upgraded software! Thanks!
I do not own one and I would make Easter favor boxes for my easter egg hunt
Who wouldnt like to win? Im disabled and think the portraite would be about the right size for me to manage, Ive looked up the weight and its quite light, so would be ideal, and it does almost everything I want, apart from sing and dance……but neither can I so we are even hehe It would help me so much cutting shapes for putting on my cards, making flowers all sorts. I might even be able to do christmas cards with it, I couldnt manage last year too many. Thanks for the chance and good luck everyone xxx
