Thank you to all of you for your words of wisdom. I feel much better prepared for the craft fair this weekend. I thought I would share two of your ideas here, but if you’d like to look back at all of the comments, here is the link to my previous post, Tis the Season.
Baggage:
It was suggested that a cute bag to carry your newly purchased treasures away in was a good idea. I did print out my logo on some large stickers, and put them on the sides of brown paper kraft bags with handles. It’s not much, but hopefully enough just to show that I put thought into every detail.
Something Fun:
A few people mentioned coming up with a way to draw people in. I thought raffling something off to one lucky customer would maybe do the trick. We will be giving away one of my Crocheted “Quilts” to one person that makes a purchase. Just a note: there were other suggestions to have a sign up for email newsletters and coupons. The entry form for the blanket asks for each person’s name and email address. This way I’m drawing interest into the tent, and also collected contacts at the same time.
I hope these ideas are helpful to any of you considering entering a craft fair, and if anyone thinks of anything else in the next 48 hours that may be of any help, please pass it along to all of us!
I’ll let all of you know next week how things go!
Wish me luck,
Nikki, In Stitches
