I’m back! Vacation was great…not as relaxing as a week on the beach once was before we had kids and a dog in tow, but still precious time spent with our families and great memories of my little guy covered in sand, having the time of his life.
But now for the good stuff you’ve been waiting for! Does this look familiar? Yes, this is a grab bag from my favorite needlepoint store in Cape May, New Jersey, Stitch by Stitch, you can click the link for a description of why I love this place so much, and I’m giving it away to one lucky reader!
First, the rules. All you have to do to qualify is leave a comment. Just let me know you’re out there, leave a contact email in case you are the winner, and you’re in! The cut off for entries is this Thursday ( August 13th) at midnight. I’ll pick the winner Friday morning using a random number generator.
Second, in case you forgot, here’s how the grab bag works. I have no idea what’s inside there. I can only vouch for the fact that all the grab bags I have ever purchased from Stitch by Stitch have been amazing. The cost to purchase the bag from the store is five dollars, and it comes with a guarantee that what is inside is worth $30. I can promise you that it’s value is far more than that. In previous bags I have gotten thread, aida cloth, patterns, magazines, etc. Even if you’re not a needlepoint or embroidery fan, you can easily find a use for many of these items in other craft projects.
So…let the commenting begin!
Good luck,
Nikki, In Stitches

Just “stumbled” upon your site and like it…thumbs up!
I don’t know if you’d be willing to post overseas, but if you would, consider me in! I love the idea of these grab bags, and I’ve never seen anything like them here in Britain. However, we don’t seem to be as well off for craft supply shops here as you are there.
I was doing a search for items needed for a beginner sewer and found exactly what I needed thanks to your blog! I just made my list for the rotary cutter, mat and ruler. Thank you so much!
We don’t have any cool stores like that near me. Lucky girl!
I will win the Grab Bag and transform its contents into a masterpiece. How was the Cape?
What a nice thing to give away!
I’d love to take a finger-stroll down a long deserted lane (so to speak) and do some embroidery.
Linda
Our one quilt shop here in JC, MO doesn’t have anything cool like that. What a neat idea! Hope to win it!

All we have around these parts are chain craft stores, so this would be divine!
Don’t know if this is worldwide… if it is count with, please!
And good luck to all of us
What great fun! (the grab bag and a vacation on the beach, even with kids and dog in tow!) I remember those huge family summer trips to the beach as a kid. Grandad would rent a large cottage and everyone would arrive, salt water taffy…..sandcastles! How fun!
Oh please let it be my lucky day! What fun a grab bag would be.
I love the surprises that grab bags bring. It’s like a mini-Christmas at your craft desk.
I just found your site and I love it. Gotcha bookmarked already.~~~Holly
