What is the course format and how will you learn/participate?
All classes are taught on Spreecast. Creating a free Spreecast account will be required before your participation in class. This allows me to “take attendance” and make sure everyone’s ready to go before class starts! After purchasing your place in class, you will be emailed the details of how to get the best online experience, including the link to the actual class, how to ask questions, how to connect to Spreecast, and how to even come on camera with me! Classes are immediately available for replay, and you may watch that replay as many times as you’d like. You may also post questions on the class page (again, that link will be emailed to you upon enrollment) and I will personally answer them!
What skill level is required for Nikki, In Stitches live online craft classes?
Nikki, In Stitches live online craft classes are designed for crafters of all levels. These classes will help you:
- Jump into a new medium and explore a new craft
- meet fellow crafters and make friends
- eat up your stash of unused (and sometimes even unopened!) craft supplies (In other words, save some cash!)
- Ask questions and get instant help
- Leave class with a finished product and a new skill, ready to be applied to your next project!
You’ll also benefit from a private page on the Nikki, In Stitches site that only you, me, and your fellow classmates will have access to. There you can post questions, ask for help, and get feedback from other students and me! That’s right: I’m there with you throughout the entire process. You’ll be able to get my personal support and attention as you work through your projects.
What can you expect from these classes?
Here’s my serious answer:
Nikki, In Stitches live online craft classes are designed specifically to teach you a complete project. You will leave with a project in hand, or at least a resource to guide you through that project if you choose to complete it at a later date. You will also experience one-on-one help throughout the lesson by me! This technology allows me to check in on your progress and make sure you’re following along without any questions. And, you can also expect that if you have any questions about the project or instructions after class has ended, you will have your fellow classmates and myself to help you work through them.
And here’s my realistic answer:
- You’ll get the kids to bed and five minutes later be crafting!
- You’ll be able to join us from the comfort of your living room…in your pajamas if you’d like!
- You can enjoy a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) while you work!
- You don’t need to leave your house or drive anywhere to enjoy doing what you love!
- You will laugh and have fun with new friends!

You can absolutely leave class if you need to. The class replay will be immediately available, and you’ll be able to watch that as many times as you’d like!
