I Never Win Anything…

I never win anything…until now!

I could spend all day entering giveaways online, but I try to limit myself…I already spend way too much time each day surfing the internet. But when I do see something that stands out, I allow myself to throw my name in, never expecting to win, but the excitement and potential of winning is fun enough. A few weeks ago, one of my favorite blogs, CraftGossip, was giving away a copy of French Girl Knits, by Kristeen Griffin-Grimes…and I won it!

First, CraftGossip. CraftGossip is another blog that highlights other crafting blogs, saves blog readers like myself tons of time, and picks great projects. ( I admit I am a little partial…they’ve highlighted two of my projects, my Green Bead Soup Bracelet and my Hooded Scarf.) I think the main reason I like CraftGossip is because they literally spotlight crafts from every medium you could ever possibly be interested in, from Polymer Clay to Needlepoint, from Green, Eco-friendly projects to Homemade Bath and Body Products.

Second, French Girl Knits. Where do I begin? The projects in this book are absolutely stunning, and romantically feminine. I’ve got my eye on one project in particular, the Bijou cropped cotton cardigan, but have a long list of projects in mind to give as Christmas gifts, especially the Simone flared-sleeve cowl sweater. The neckline is fantastic.

Thank you, again CraftGossip! Maybe my luck is changing!

I love this post! I am new to knitting and Im already looking for future projects. I stumbled upon your post for the baby blanket and feel in love with it! My girlfriend is having a baby so it looks like this is going to be my gift. Hope I can manage to make it through it. Your pattern/directions seem pretty straight forward so hopefully mine will come out as nice. Thx again.

Btw- Im book marking your page : )
